As a simple all-in-one printer, the HP Officejet 4315 basically does what is advertised. I've used this printer for over 6 months now and have yet to report a defect. I never previously owned a fax machine, and having this function on the printer has been fairly useful. The print quality is sufficient and you can pick up cartridges for as cheap as £10 for colour and £7 for black ink.
The all-in-one does have a few problems, however. If you require speedy print-outs I would recommend looking at a laser printer, as this inkjet can take its time. I have also had to revert to using my flatbed scanner, as this all-in-one only allows scanning of individual pages. The photocopy function on this machine can be quite slow, which further detracts from its appeal.
In terms of installing the printer I did not have any problems, and I have not experienced any problems with its software since. Being someone who isnt very computer literate I would take this as a plus!
Overall, for a now relatively cheap, all-in-one, I would not hesitate recommending this product. However, if the problems outlined above are likely to be a hindrance, I would say look elsewhere!
