i would generally agree with the first reviewer - this J6410 is a very poor machine, largely because the drivers and software appear to be extremely unreliable. the machine almost never does the required action twice. the wifi function is particularly unreliable. i managed to get wifi scanning to work, but again, it was unreliable. over the last thirty years i have owned many hp machines. in the last twenty years almost all of them suffer from poor software - unreliability being the constant problem. i am about to phone the place i bought the j6410 from (pcw) and more than likely waste half a day taking it back and trying to find something else. hp was undoubtedly ...

HP Officejet 4255

Hewlett Packard have always been a forefront company for business quality machines. I have been using the 4252 (there is no difference I can find) for 2 years now until I finally managed to break it. I have printed on paper, card and photo. I use it to scan in all of my charity work documents and duplicate them from the desktop as well as stand-alone. I have not been able to fault it except for two small niggling things. Firstly is the quality of paper it accepts. If your paper is quite heavy, now I am talking 250gsm quality, it is not brilliant. I work from home in a small office, so space is a premium. I had a printer, scanner & fax all cluttering my space. I deceided to get the Officejet 5110 as it was cheap and did everything I needed. The quality of the printing is good, even photo prints onto photo paper come out well. One of the major benefits for an all-in-one is only ONE PLUG! With the 5110 you can receive & send faxes even if your computer is switched off. Some of the cheaper all-in-ones require that the computer is on, which is daft.
