The HP Officejet v45 is ideal for both workplaces and homes. It can fax, copy, scan single pieces of paper/single photos and print in black and white or colour. On normal print quality it will print around 8 pages a minute which is pretty good, the quality of printing is impressive. Pictures always come out looking great, especially on glossy paper.
Scanning can be done quickly and easily too with good results, it's just a shame you can only do single sheets. The ink cartridges unfortunately don't seem to last all that long, with frequent use my black cartridge needs changing every 3 months or so. the colour cartridge less so but that is used less often. The cartridges aren't cheap, they cost about £25 to replace.
Technically, the printer works fine on all Windows XP applications and the cartridges are simple to swap when needed just by opening the slot, lifting the tab and pulling out the cartridge. The instructions are easy to follow although they're not really needed.
The HP v45 does the multifunction job it's supposed to, very efficiently.
