HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One

Rating:
had to come to the annoying conclusion that really only an HP machine of those available offered just what I needed at an acceptable price. That was the Photosmart C7280 All-in-One. Why not just a printer? Well, true, it would have been cheaper but for the princely sum of just under £170 I got a printer with full duplexing capability; a scanner that would accept multiple sheets via an auto-feeder; a fax machine, a copier and a photo quality printer as well. Not only that but it would connect via USB cable, wired network and wireless networking as well. On the consumables side, the printer has six ink cartridges, which can be individually replaced when each runs ...
HP Photosmart C7180 All-in-One
An All-In-One That Is Outstanding But Not Perfect (447 words)by r123 - written on 01/08/07

This all-in-one from HP produces very good quality prints and has loads of features but is a little pricey at about £300. There's a scanner, copier, printer and fax and the machine has built in WiFi and bluetooth and has an ethernet port. It usually takes me about 10 seconds to print a sheet of A4 text of normal quality. Photos are very good quality but I have found it can take up to a minute to print a 6 by 4 inch photo. There is, however, a handy photo input tray for photo ...

I chose the HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One because I had the C5180 before but I wanted one with an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), which the 5180 lacks, so this is more of an upgrade for me. That aside, I prefer multifunctional printers because I do not have room for a both a printer and a scanner on my desk. I specifically wanted an HP because I like how the paper tray is on the front rather than on top at the back. This became important to me since I owned an Epson CX6400 multifunctional printer, which irritated me when it kept spitting out the paper I wanted it to print on because the paper wasn’t loaded properly or it wasn’t in the tray before I started printing. ...
