The lexmark X5470 is in general a good printer. With a resolution of 4800 X 1200 dpi, you will get a very good print. And it is also capable of printing 25 pages per minute in black and 18 per minute in colour. On top of this it is also loaded with a 600 x 1200 scanner, 4 memory card readers, a PictBridge port and USB 2 capability. Making it a good all round printer for any home or small office. You can also use this unit as a fax machine with a speed dial option available to use. The only two downsides to this printer is for one, in my experience lexmark printers tend to be un reliable. Secondly the cartridges are always more expensive on lexmark than almost any other ...

We brought this printer about year and half ago from asda for around £60 which we thought was a bargain, as there where so many different features including colour printing black and white printing ,fax machine, sd memory card slot for printing your pictures of, scanner, photo copiers etc. The printer was great and we used it daily for about 6 months, but did notice like with any other printer it did gobble ink like nobody's business. I even did me proud when i had to print of 200 leaflets! Color 440, did great until it stopped working but I still had to use a fax machine that I didn't have. Fortunately for me, I found the All In One Lexmark X125 on Epinions.com. I read reviews on it. I went and priced it at Walmart. It was $139. A fax, copy, scanner and printer together was just what I needed to take care of all my daily tasks right in my home at one time. I love it.
