Lexmark X642e MFP ... on one multifunction printer supporting labels, heavy media, recycled media and specialty forms. This MFP can be easily tailored to an array of business output application needs through the selection of input paper handling options, wireless or fiber network connections, and unique optional application solutions for PDF, bar code or encrypted data printing.

A powerful 514 MHz processor and standard 128MB RAM (expandable to 640MB) for fast copying or printing with up to 45 ppm (43 ppm for A4) coupled with a time to first page as quick as 8.5 seconds means less wait-time for users. 200, 000 page one-time maximum monthly duty cycle provides departmental workgroup support.

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) v3, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), IP Security (IPSec) and 802.1x authentication and user authentication (with single sign-on) provide security measures for multifunction communications and data encryption. Confidential printing with enhanced personal ID number (up to 10 digits) management including lockout, job expiration, and invalid PIN protection.

Easy-to-view, adjustable Lexmark e-Task 5.7-inch (15.5 cm) touch screen provides access to print, copy, fax and scan-to-email functions. Graphical 'Show Me' assists in keeping the MFP up and running. Supports direct printing (without a PC) of PDFs and image (TIFF, JPEG) files from a USB flash drive using the convenient USB Direct interface on the operator panel. Or scan a document and save it to the USB Flash drive as a PDF, TIFF or JPEG.

wireless network and your off. But at first, i didnt find it that easy. Lexmark state that installation of this priduct should take around 30 minutes. Lexmark have previously made a lot of printers and quite a lot of all in ones too. This Lexmark X9350, is a great all in one designed as a top end home office, or home printer and can handle a lot of use and a lot of different tasks you throw at it. The look of this printer is excellent, its silver and white plastic body looks great and very modern, so it wouldn t look out of place in an office or at home. very handy too, it comes with Presto Page Manager, Abbyy Fine Reader and the Lexmark Productivity Suite, however if you have your own software you wont even need to install these, and the printer installs its self onto your computer just by plugging it into it. Altogether this is a really good home office or high end home printer, however it is really cheap for a home office printer, the print quality is really good, the speeds are a little slow though, and I dint manage to get more than 9 pages a minute out of it, however it is great for photos, and it has fantastic features built into it, so altogether its worth well more than the price its labelled ...
