Olivetti Jet-Lab 490 ... ink-jet fax that can be hooked up to a PC, is what you need.

This system offers a hands-free function, 8 special keys for one-touch dialing as well as abbreviated dialing for 50 numbers. The memory stores up to 50 pages for broadcasting applications and reception of incoming fax if the paper or ink run out.

The Olivetti Jet-Lab 490 works fast, too: it can send off a page in just 7 seconds. Paper management is no problem either, with the 20-page automatic document feed and 100-sheet paper tray.

Another practical feature is the "black list" function to block reception of fax from unwelcome numbers: you can specify up to 10 numbers, to safeguard your privacy.

Linked with a PC, the Jet-Lab 490 can also be used as a printer; and if you want to print in color, all you do is replace the black print head with the three-color print head. With a resolution of 600x300 dpi, results are outstanding. You'll find the monochrome scanner useful for capturing paper documents. Then simply click on the PC desktop icon to send the scanned material as e-mail attachments: this function, Internet Linkfax, is exclusive to the Olivetti Jet-Lab 490!
