Tesco Assorted Fabric Plasters:
... bought some new trainers the other day but went for a fashion pair rather than a practical pair. There was my first bad idea! I decided to wear them without socks one day. There s the second bad idea! I ended up with two absolutely massive blisters on each baby toe and they looked rough. After popping them with a pin (I know it s gross but they were so big that they really needed to be drained) I needed some plaste... Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment ... was first given this ointment by an Australian friend who waxed lyrical about it s many properties and ability to cure any skin ailment and I have to admit that I was a little dubious-the front of the tube says fresh fermented fruit and I did wonder if it would be another miraculous remedy that has a mere placebo effect. The tube says it is a local topical application for boils, burns, chafing, cuts, cracked skin, gravel, rash, splinters, open wounds, insect bites and nappy rash . The website (www.lucaspapaw.com.au) adds that it is suitable for temporary relief of dermatitis, eczema and even haemorrhoids. It also claims a mild antiseptic effect so is good not just ... Tattoo Aftercare Balm ... product was recommended to my by the tattoo artist who did my first tattoo. In the past people tended to use vaseline to cover the tattoo whilst it heals but i would definitely recommend the Tattoo Aftercare Balm instead. It soothes any discomfort, speeds up the healing of the tattoo and stops a scab forming. The tattoo aftercare balm is reallyeasy to use. All you have to do is rub a small amount of the balm on to tattoo and surrounding area. I was old to apply it twice a day or more if the tattoo dries out. I found that i was applying it alot more than twice a day, maybe its because it smells so nice! All of my mates with tattoos have also used the Tattoo Aftercare... Compeed Blister Plasters ... husband is one of those crazy walking types who owns a range of sensible shoes and endless amounts of kit that fill up our spare room. Often I resent the existence of this kit as it regularly overflows to the rest of the house and hints are often made that I too need a rucksack for carrying some of said kit myself. However, I have finally found that walkers do have at least one handy little product that the rest of us need to know about: Compeed Blister Gel Pads. Yesterday I spent a hot, humid Saturday walking about the lovelier parts of Norwich wearing sandals I d not had on since our honeymoon 10 months ago. The balls of my feet were burning a bit by the time I... Read the full review: For us city folk too by waterlilly |
