Savlon Antiseptic Liquid:
... always gorwn up with a bottle of Dettol in the bathroom (I swear my mum had OCD as she would have up to 3 baths a day with Dettol in it.... looking back this is not normal behaviour!), which tends to leave a Dettol smell lingering in the house- over the years I have grown to dislike the smell of dettol. And to me, dettol and stronger antiseptics now smell like the aftermath of a police clean up (you know the s... Read the full review: It almost smells like Radox! Deep Freeze Pain Relief Spray ... was aware of the "Deep Heat" range of products growing up as my mum suffered badly with the disks in her neck and used Deep Heat products (along with hospital physio) to alleviate the pain. I did not know Deep Freeze was also part of the range. A few years ago, my partner at the time narrowly escaped dislocating his ankle after a drunken tumble with one of his "mates" (an ill-timed rugby tackle meant he went over on his ankle to the point he would have done less damage if he had have dislocated it). After a midnight trip to A&E (where they would not see him as he had been drinking), we went home and the next morning I was sent to the nearest ch... Read the full review: Super Cool by norton501 |

Boots Tubigrip Support Bandage ... quite clumsy and awful at sports at school, I was always being ushered towards a bit of tubigrip by both GPs and my parents when I had pulled a muscle. Now, I always like to have a few lengths of tubigrip in the house. It is very easy to use (just pull it on and double it over for extra support- you cut it to size too). After going to university and moving house around 12 times in 6 years, I recently went hunting for the ever faithful slightly worn bits of tubigrip i ve re-used when required only to find them "missing". Eek I thought. I trotted along to Boots one lunchtime and paid £3.29 for a metre of size C tubigrip. This comes in an assortment of s... Savlon Advanced Plasters ... is a well known brand and so I chose these plasters based in this but mainly because they are BREATHABLE. I find that if you have a basic plaster on your finger, it makes the skin sweat underneath, and when you take the plaster off, your finger is kind of smelly even after a day of wearing. These ones are water resistant and don t hold water and dry quickly. They let your skin breathe underneath. I cut the top of my thumb badly the other day when using a sharp knife to cut an onion. I put one of these on and it stretched nicely aroung the area to fit well, and the special pad stopped the bleeding fast. I have found with other plasters that when the injury is in ...
