Compeed Blister Plasters
Advantages: Cheap, effective, reliable
Disadvantages: Difficulty removing pads
I have always suffered from blister's during exercise. Also being in the Armed Forces I undertake very strenuous exercise such as long distance walking / running in the uncomfortable army issued boots, definitely not healthy for the feet. Also if im going to carry on through the week, I need to ensure my feet are in good order for the next day. This is when I discovered Compeed Blister Gel pads.
Compeed Blister Gel pads act as a natural pain reliever which also absorbs moisture from your skin to form a thick soft gel that ensures rubbing and pressure is kept to a minimum. This is helpful for when you already have blisters but still need to undertake exercise, as running with blisters can be very painful and uncomfortable. The pads are full of Silicon Gel, ensuring that a rubbing boot etc still has the freedom to move. This gel also repairs the blister naturally and can even be inserted on areas you think will be vulnerable to a b lister forming.
The pads are Oval shaped, allowing it to cover the blistered skin as well as the surrounding area for added protection. It also is designed to be inserted correctly on the foot, to minimise the chances of it unsticking and coming off.
The advantages of this product
I was surprised at how cheap this product comes at, especially after realising myself on how effective it is. Its definitely worth the money!! The packaging is very small and compact, allowing you to carry easily on long distance walks where you may need them. They are very effective, and as well as protect the blister, it also heals it.
When inserted on the foot, I found it very comfortable and didn't even realise it was there. And the pain from the blister was tremendously reduced, allowing me to carry on my physical activities. The product is very easy to use, just as simple as putting on a plaster! And lastly, they look good too!
The very few disadvantages
I can honestly I was fully satisfied with this product and cant really think of many disadvantages. But the main one in my opinion would be having to take the pad off. Tearing a pad of a blister can be very painful and maybe make it worse, so the only way really of taking it off is to relax in a hot bath until it eases off, this can take a while!
Overall I would definitely recommend this product to those as unfortunate as me and suffer blisters a lot. It works effectively at an amazing cost!
I hope this review helps and thanks for reading
Summary: Definately recommend to anyone
