Advantages: Protects wounds and helps them to heal faster

Disadvantages: A bit expensive

I bought a pack of these plasters for £1.75 from a local discount store.

There are ten plasters in each pack and they contain silver which aids the healing process.

Each plaster is of a decent shape and size, the same shape and size as regular plasters. Each plaster has a cushion in the middle of it that helps to protect the wound. The silver is locked inside the plaster and it activates itself upon contact with the skin. You can't really notice it to be honest. It just looks like a silver coloured plaster with a mesh.

The plasters are quite sticky. They stick to the skin well and they don't fall off the skin or lose their place on the skin. They're comfortable to use and they don't interfere with the wound itself. I find that I can shower, bathe and exercise with these plasters on and they don't come off my skin. They do hurt a little when you remove them but if you rip them off quickly they shouldn't hurt too much.

As for the healing process the plasters DO help wounds to heal faster. I have had experience of this. Usually my skin takes a while to heal properly but these plasters speed up the healing process and the wound then doesn't scar. The plasters are excellent quality but I can't help but wonder if the silver aspect is a bit gimmicky? However it does seem to work and that's the main thing.

Good quality plasters that don't lose their stick.

Summary: Plasters containing silver? Oh yes!
