      • "Relieves Pain"
      • Cheap
      • Discreet

      Disadvantages

      Cheap, effective, comfortable

Although I have never used this product on myself, I have used it on my friend who was suffering from a corn. Although the Scholl Corn Shield Gel Plasters are just a temporary fix, they are very easy to apply and I am told they improved her pain dramatically as soon as she put pressure on the area y walking on it.

The gel plaster is similar to a burn plaster but much smaller, and the gel is concentrated on a small area leading to added comfort as it relieves the pressure on the affected area. My friend said the effect was noticeable immediately, and as soon as she walked on it, she could feel the comfort supplied by the plaster.

The price is reasonably cheap, at around £1.50. Although they might need to be used long term, the price makes this feasible, which is obviously a bonus.

They are well made, and provide adequate support so that the wearer can continue with their day to day life as normal. Before putting the plaster on, my friend found it painful and difficult to walk, but immediately afterwards found herself going for a long walk!

She didn't need to change the plaster for a day or two as it stuck well to the area and only needed to be removed after she had had a bath. It survived in the shower, but in the bath it started to peel off, which is to be expected.

Overall, based on what I have seen, and my friend's comments after application, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a little relief from the pressure of corns.
