Just recently I have written a few reviews on flea problems in my home. I looked after a cat that unbeknown to me had them and I have constantly been bitten since and when I say bitten I really do mean bitten too, my legs are a right mess!
I bought this in my local Wilkinson store the other day as it only cost a pound a box. I bought it not only for dealing with the flea bite problem but also to dab on a dew spots I have been having lately and also I cut myself whilst shaving my legs alot and that this would be a great product to clean cuts and sores with to stop getting them infected.
Well the cream comes in an oblong green and blue coloured box and two sides of it appear the same and we are told that it is Care + Tea Tree Oil Cream 'Soothing' and that the tube contains 25g of the product. On the back of the box we are told a bit about the cream and how to use it, the ingredients and warnings are given and contact details for Thornton & Ross Ltd are given (the manufacturer of the product). The tube is plastic and squeezy with a screw on/off white plastic lid to one end of it and its green, blue and white in colour and basically looks very the same as the box with all the same information on that as on the box.
A Bit About The Product According To The Information Listed On The Packaging:
Care Tea Tree Oil Cream is a simple, non-greasy, perfume-free cream, which is easily absorbed and suitable for most skin types. Tea Tree Oil has many uses and is known for its soothing properties.
The Cream Itself:
White and slightly greasy this is so easy to blend into the skin and it has a rich but natural aroma of tea tree oil to it which is a really fresh and clean fragrance which of course is natural as this contains no added perfume.
A little of this goes along way and you gently massage this into clean skin and into rashes, spots, cuts....whatever you like really. It is a slightly cooling cream and the fragrance wears off after about an hours or so of its own accord.
I don't find this to irritate open wounds or anything adverse like that as it really is soothing and although slightly greasy when applied it does sink into the skin after a minute or so of applying it.
This is a great little cream and really multi tasking. I have used this on zits, on general nat bites, on my flea bites and even massaged some into a cut on my finger that my escape artist of a hamster gave me just yesterday when I recaptured him! I find it cooling and that this is a good natural antiseptic cream.
I find that this keeps wounds clean and helps speed up the healing process well and helps me to stop itching which then leads to less scarring!
For a pound a tube for use on minor problems this is a great economical purchase. It smoothens and softens skin, keeps wounds clean and less prone to infection and a little of it goes a very long way indeed so it gets a big thumbs up from me!
Available from Wilkinson stores, discount stores such as Poundland or google online if you can't find it in the shops!
