Tesco Antiseptic Wipes
Advantages: do the job perfect, cheap, easy to keep at home or take out and about
Last year when doing a shop in Tesco I remembered we were low on first aid bits and pieces so bought this 10 pack of antiseptic wipes and 10 clear washproof plasters to stock up on. They were relatively cheap and so a good buy!
They come in a little cardboard box which explains the wipes help protect against germs and are a handy way to cleanse and protect the skin. They come individually wrapped which makes these wipes ideal as I tend to keep a couple in the car and also one in my handbag as I once cut my finger at work and there was absolutely nothing in the first aid box!
Opening the wipes out the wrapper is easy, just a small tear and you can pull the wipe out. The wipe itself is really moist - but not overly soggy so as to create liquid mess everywhere which I have noticed with some wipes. For such cheap value the wipe is actually really thick and durable and does not tear to pieces as soon as you start rubbing the affected area which is good. The wipes are transparent and do have a slight antiseptic smell but this is to be expected from antiseptic wipes anyway!
Using the wipes is simple, and it can sting a little bit but of course this is just the wipe doing it's job. If you leave the wipe out for long it does dry up and become useless so it makes sense to use the wipe immediately after opening so as to get use out of it, then dispose of it hygienically in the bin.
These wipes are really handy to buy and do the job great. A pack of 10 only costs 70p which is really good value and we still have 5 left! I have bought pretty much the identical thing in Sainsburys and they cost 70p for a pack of 10 also and personally there isn't much difference between them they do the exact same job so I wouldn't recommend Tesco's version over theirs.
Overall these are good and handy to keep at home or carry out and about. I can't think of any negatives about them so I would definitely recommend them!
Summary: handy wipes for only 70p!
