Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: They don't stick!

I bought some new trainers the other day but went for a fashion pair rather than a practical pair. There was my first bad idea! I decided to wear them without socks one day. There's the second bad idea! I ended up with two absolutely massive blisters on each baby toe and they looked rough. After popping them with a pin (I know it's gross but they were so big that they really needed to be drained) I needed some plasters. I recently bought a packet of these from Tesco for just over a pound. That was my third and final bad idea!

There are forty plasters in the box of all different shapes and sizes and they are all beige in colour with a few air holes dotted over the surface.

After 'draining' my blisters, I pulled a decent sized plaster from the box and proceeded take off the paper bits that cover up the sticky bits. They came away fairly easily although I would imagine this could be a little fiddly if you have big hands. I placed it on top of my toe which at this point was sore and looked as if they had, had the whole top of the skin removed. I smoothed it over with my hand and I was proud with the fact that I had managed to pop it on so neatly.

A little while later I got up and proceeded to carry out my housewifely duties. I felt the plaster come looseand after trying on numerous occasions to stick it back on, I gave up and it went in the bin. I tried a couple more of the plasters but they also ended up in the bin and I decided that I'd let my old trainers 'chaff' against my poor blister and live with the pain.

I thought that maybe the plaster was in an awkward place but I have tried to use them on various other parts of my body and we've had the same outcome!

I would definitely steer clear of these plasters. They are a complete waste of money and don't do the job they are made for.

Summary: Rubbish!
