Tesco Assorted Washproof Plasters
Advantages: Cheap and effective
Disadvantages: None really too much
Tesco Assorted Washproof Plasters are , in my opinion, a handy little cardborad box of forty assorted sized washproof plasters which Tesco sell for the very cheap price of just £1.50.
They come in a variety of different sizes, depending on whether they are for a sore heal, a stubbed little toe or a nasty scratched and bleeding kneecap.
We use them in our house all the time, mainly for our son who is always suffering from bumps and knocks, and by putting a plaster on him, it always seem to make him feel much better, even if there is only the tiniest hint of a little scratch! My other half tends to use them a lot on the backs of her heels where her shoes rub, especially if they are new.
They are waterproof, to an extent but will not stay put if immersed in water for too long, such as the bath. Taking a shower with one of these palsters on is fine, and they will not come off.
One plaster will last a few days, then you will find the ends started to come up a bit as they attract the dirt and grime of the environment. The only downside is that they tend to leave those dirty grey coloured sticky bits on the skin if they have been on a while, but I think this tends to happen a lot with any plaster in my opinion.
I personally feel that they are easy to apply and each one comes individually wrapped. There are a good assortment of different sizes and they are easy to find and cheap. They feel nice and smooth when they are on and stick very well to the skin.
Great buy and cheap and well recommended.
