Tesco Kids Monkey Plasters
Advantages: Cute design that kids love, stick on well and good quality
Disadvantages: None other than maybe could do with some bigger sizes to choose from
Plasters are something that I always have in the house especially with a boisterous young boy who is always seeming to scrape and fall. I have been buying these monkey plasters for years as he likes them when he has a small cut although lately he has been getting a bit old for them and only likes me to put one on him if he is in the house where his friends can't see.
The monkey plasters can be bought at Tesco and cost only 80 pence for a pack of 30 assorted plasters. The thing that makes these plasters fun for kids is that they have monkeys printed on them which are actually really cute and my son always used to feel better when he got one of these plasters and used to call them his special plasters.
As solely plasters and not just as cute ones these actually work really well. The material that they are made form is latex free and is supposed to be breathable and water resistant. I think these are much better quality than some other supermarket own brands of plasters which are usually fabric and rubbish at staying on. These stick on to fingers for example and once you have stuck them down they stay put although they will come loose in the bath and peel away but this is pretty much the only thing that makes them unstick and come away from the skin.
They are also made really well and of a high quality. Sometimes when opening plasters they can split and tear and I have bought plasters before where half the box has been unusable but not with these as the backing comes away every time and doesn't rip the plaster underneath.
The only problem with these plasters is that they are quite small. I know they are only for small cuts etc. but it would be nice to have a couple of larger ones big enough for a scraped knee for example.
These are decent plasters for a good price. There are much cheaper ones to buy but these are high quality and are really cute for children and when they have hurt themselves it is nice to make a little bit of a fuss over them by having their own special plasters. I feel a bit sad my son is getting to that age now where he thinks he is too old for these but I personally think they ae great for younger kids.
