I love being an owner of goldfish, they not only make a lovely display in my room but they are fascinating to watch and when it comes to looking after them I like to think I do a good job. Anyone that is a keen goldfish keeper will know that they are harder work to look after than many would think, that said, they are renowned for being hassle free when it comes to feeding. I have two goldfish called Del boy and Rodney (haha!). For a while I tended to just pick up any fish food from wherever I went at the time I was running out but after trying King British Goldfish flake food I try my best to get my hands on this as my first choice. The flakes come in a blue ... Read the complete review

King British Goldfish Flake Food is a fish food that contains lots of different coloured brownish orangish fish flakes that you simply sprinkle into your fish bowl to feed your gold fish every day. The flakes are dry so they dont make too much of a mess when you are sprinkling them into the bowl, it also doesnt from my experiance, leave that scum that some fish foods can leave in your fish bowl though you still will need to clean it out on occassion. There is enough in a tub to keep your gold fish feeding for over 2 weeks, depending on how big your gold fish is and how much food it needs. You can feed your gold fish and other cold water ... King British Goldfish flake food is a good all-rounder. It's intended for cold-water fish and instructions say to ideally feed your fish three times a day as much as they can eat in two minutes. Well, if we did that, our fishies would be fat indeed! We have two goldfish that are just over a year old each and they're perfectly healthy on one feeding a day (that said, they do get bloodworm treats twice a week). Even if fed as instructions suggest, this food lasts forever. We're using a 55g tub at the moment and fully expect it to last until towards the end of 2010. It's not expensive, it is good quality, and you can't really ask for more than that, can you? If ... Read the complete review

King British Goldfish Flake Food is a complete food for all coldwater fish. It comes in several sized plastic pots which are blue with a blue label on them with all the detail about this fish food written on it. The instructions on the pot say that you should feed this to your goldfish 2 or 3 times a day and make sure that all that you put into the tank is either eaten or removed after 2 minutes of being in there. The medium sized pot tends to last me about 2 months and costs about £3.50 which I find is very reasonable. I have 4 large adult goldfish in my tank that do tend to eat everything I give them so none of it is wasted! The flakes ... Read the complete review
