To look at, the product is very simple in design, the metal frame and the head cushion is black and the handle bars are cushioned with bright blue thick foam. Having had an ab-exerciser in my younger years, I started to look around and was amazed at the price range of the these products, some in excess of £30 so to buy this one at less than £10 proved to be a bargain. What I love most about this is it is really easy to fold...more

Last year, I visited sunny Florida for 2 weeks in July, this was our 3rd stay and the first time that we decided to add water park tickets to our package, normally I wouldn't like to get in to my bikini in public, I am quite slim but like everyone I have 'problem' areas on my body, in my case its my stomach, I would love to have perfectly toned abs and have spent quite a bit of time perfecting them. I shopped around a bit and decided to go with my cheapest option, the Argos Value Range Abdotrim Tummy Exerciser, it is simply a device that helps you do sit ups more correctly and much easier than if you were doing them 'free style'. So I went to Argos ...  Read the complete review

These 'tummy trainers' are all over the market and are meant to help you strengthen your abs. I personally don't like them and have previously used this Argos version at a friends house, which I felt was awful. It's of very poor quality and I don't find them comfortable anyway but this one is probably the least comfortable you will find. The headrest is very thinly padded and the handlebars have a poor quality padding around them too. The tummy trainer is available from Argos for £9.99 so it's quite cheap. However I feel this 10 pounds is still a waste of money! The frame slots into two black parts that sit towards the front end of the frame. It moves ...  Read the complete review

Argos Value Range Abdotrim Tummy Exerciser: A Bit of a Waste of Space (352 words)

I purchased the Argos Value Range Abdotrim Tummy Exerciser before my wedding, in order to trim an inch off my tummy and get washboard abs (well, girly washboard abs). It was £9.99, which is a good price, and comes disassembled. My husband (to be at the time) put it together for me, which was a bit awkward as it's not the sturdiest or most well made item, but we got there in the end. Basically it consists of a black tubular framing with blue and black cushioning, fashioned into a 'v' shape. You place your head on the cushion and 'rock' the abdotrim until you go from a laying down position to a right angle - basically, it's a sit-up aid. And it does get those ...  Read the complete review

Ab-tastic! (572 words)

I have been attending my work based gym for many years now, but always find myself gravitating toward one particular piece of work out equipment, the sit up machine! Since having my children (both by caesarean section), my stomach has always been a funny shape and seemingly muscle-less, so after doing my extensive cardio workout I always have a go on it. I decided that due to me only getting to attend the gym when my husband is off work it would be a good idea to get a machine for home too, and hopefully be able to persuade myself to exercise at home too (not an easy feat once I have finished work!). After perusing the Argos book, I came ...  Read the complete review

Argos Value Range Abdotrim Tummy Exerciser: Argos Abdotrim Exerciser (609 words)

I have embarked on a fitness routine over the last few months and one area I really want to concentrate on toning up is my tummy area as after having a child, things have never really gone back to how they were before. I have no weight issues in this area, I just want to tone up the wobbly bits and one item that was recommended to me was a abdotrim tummy exerciser. The cheapest I could find was in Argos and it was priced at £9.99 so decided to go for it. It came flat packed which worried me, but it didn't take long to put together and was done so rather simply. When erected, I was a little concerned at how much room it was going to ...  Read the complete review
