In my life so far, ever since the age of about 14, I have had a device similar to this is each of the places I have lived. Ever since the first time I used one those years ago and noticed the benefit I have always made sure I have one near by. And this Argos Value device is perfect!

Basically, this machine is an aid to conventional sit ups. You lie on your back placing the head on the rest, grab the two handles above you and begin a sit up motion. It is designed to aid the stomach muscle and provide a good slice of home exercise. Going to the gym is not cheap these days and the value here is plain to see. I have not found a piece of equipment that has had as much effect on the stomach muscles than this and at under a tenner what more can you ask for.

The first thing you will notice when you take it out of the box is how easy it is to set up. Within minutes you will have the device up and running and even though it is the "value" range you will notice how sturdy and solid it feels all round. Certainly gives you confidence that this piece of kit will last a good period and the whole device reeks of quality.

The ease at which it is used is also a benefit. One simple set of instructions and you are away. The head pillow is firm but not too firm and provides a good resting place for the head. The foam pads are a decent level which means your hands are supported and don't grind against the bar and the whole device is the perfect weight.

Anyone who has used one of these devices before will be aware that from the off you will feel your stomach working out. The feeling that the machine is actually working is great and you will notice results within days.

All in all this is a superb piece of kit which I would recommend to anyone. Do not waste money on fancy alternatives when this will suffice!
