Advantages: cheap and works if you put the work in

Disadvantages: you have to put the work in

Last year, I visited sunny Florida for 2 weeks in July, this was our 3rd stay and the first time that we decided to add water park tickets to our package, normally I wouldn't like to get in to my bikini in public, I am quite slim but like everyone I have 'problem' areas on my body, in my case its my stomach, I would love to have perfectly toned abs and have spent quite a bit of time perfecting them.

I shopped around a bit and decided to go with my cheapest option, the Argos Value Range Abdotrim Tummy Exerciser, it is simply a device that helps you do sit ups more correctly and much easier than if you were doing them 'free style'.

So I went to Argos and filled in my little order sheet and ordered, paid for and collected my new Tummy Toning machine, I was looking so forward to getting it out of the box and giving it a go.

When I got home, I found the Tummy Toner in pieces all ready to be assembled, it came with an easy to understand manual, and with the help of my fiance, we had it up and ready to use in less than 10 minutes.

This machine has a black foam cushion for you to rest your head on and blue foam covering the black bars for you to hold on to while you exercise to make it a more comfortable experience. This machine is quite sturdy and you can do your sit up exercises quite easily on it.

It takes up a bit of space and once it is set up isn't really that easily stored so if you are buying one, you should think carefully of where you would put it, I have a room with some gym equipment in my house so I just added it to my collection, so it is safely stored away from my nieces and nephews when they come round to visit.

Exercising with this Tummy Toner is really easy, you just hold the bars and rest your head on the foam cushion lying down, and then pull your body up along with the bars to do 'sit ups', you can do as many sit ups as you like, I like to do 100 every other day, though I will admit that some times I forget or just decide to be lazy and give myself a break.

I have been using this Tummy Toner for over a year, and I can see results, i started seeing results from when I started using it I seen results in about 3 weeks or so, my stomach started to tighten and it looks much more toned than it did before I started using this exerciser.

The only negative points that I can think of about this machine is that it does not have a counter to count the amount of sit ups that you have done in a session, or a timer to time how long your session has lasted, in fact there are no electronic features on this Tummy Toner, though this has probably a lot to do with the fact that it is very well priced at under £10.

When I bought this in Argos last year, it cost me under £10, I think it was £8.99 to be exact, which was as much as I was willing to pay for exercise gear. For the use that I have got out of it, I think that this was a really great buy and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to work on their abs and tone up a bit.
