Advantages: A cheap and easy way to work those abs

Disadvantages: None really

I paid £12.99 for this ab exerciser from Argos, that was a few years ago now so I am not sure of its price now.

The handles are made of soft foam and are comfortable to hold. You hold on to the handles (laying with your back on the floor) and roll your body so the roller makes your abs crunch. It's just like doing sit-ups but the roller helps you along. Does it work? Well, I certainly felt the exerciser working my abs. It didn't hurt, it just pulled. You may feel your stomach (abs) aching for a few days after using this as the roller is working muscles that you wouldn't normally use. This feeling goes away after a few days, it's just a case of your muscles getting used to it.

Did I feel a difference after using this? I am pleased to say that I did. My stomach wasn't that much flatter but it felt more toned and my muscles felt stronger. This was based on fifteen minutes a day of using the roller. The great thing about the roller is that it doesn't take any assembly, you just store it and get it back out whenever you like. It is quite big though. It can't be folded down, so I just store mine at the bottom of my wardrobe.

The roller is strong, durable and easy to use. It will last you a while. I will award it the whole five stars as it's a cheap and easy way to exercise your abs.

Summary: Better than paying out for gym fees
