Sorry for all these exercise equipment reviews I have spent the past year trying to lose a little weight, but mainly trying to tone my body whilst trying to avoiding having to join a gym and pay expensive monthly fees. Especially when I struggle to find the time to go to the gym, the good thing about exercising from home is that you just need a spare half an hour to be able to do a work out and you can do it any time of the day of night when you suits your schedule.
This is where my mum was clearing out her cupboard the other day and found a load of her old step aerobic DVD's so I though these were perfect as I prefer a high energy work out with great music as opposed to a slow and chilling yoga workout. The only problem was that mum had let a friend borrow her step a number of years ago and it was never returned.
All I need to do was to purchase a new step, this is where I looked around to try and find one that is reasonably priced and this is where I came across Body Sculpture Aerobic Stepper Plus it was on Amazon at the time for around £32 and came with free delivery.
The Body Sculpture Aerobic Stepper Plus is great as it is a sturdy aerobic step, that you can adjust the height to suit the workout that you are doing, if you are an intermediate or experienced person in using a stepper then you may want to use the higher level for a harder workout. You can also use the stepper for more low impact exercising it really depends on your personal preference.
The stepper also has an anti slip surface so that you are safe whilst exercising as there is nothing worse than losing you grip and slipping in the middle of your work out as you could cause yourself a serious injury.
The surface of the step is 63cm x 26cm. and the height can be adjusted to either 10cm or 15cm. The great thing about this step is that it is compact and easy to move about and store, when the step is not in use I hide it under my bed.
The only disadvantage to this stepper is that if you have used steps at an exercise class at a gym, then they are a lot better quality than this, but they spend a lot more money that the £30 that I paid. I would also perfer if the step could be increased a little higher than 15cm.
Overall a great exercise tool, I try and do a 40 minute work out on my stepper 3 times a week and the great thing about it is that there are a wide range of DVD's available so every four to six months I try and purchase a new DVD so that I do not get bored of the same work out day in and day out. I also now I have been using it for a while add weights to my workout so I can get some extra work out benefits.
I have been looking on Amazon and today this is on special offer at £27.99 which is a great price and what more will help you to shift the few pounds that you may put on over Christmas.
