I purchased my Davina Air Flow Exercise Mat from Argos for £7.99 not bad I feel. I purchased this mat when I lived in my old flat where we had laminating flooring which was cold, hard and slippery to exercise on. I also attend exercise classes from time to time and have issues with using mats that other sweaty people have exercised on I would much rather use my own.

The mat itself is 182cm long, 61cm wide and 0.6cm deep. It is a blue colour and is made from foam which is breathable and slip resistant. The slip resistances was very good and this made did stay put on my laminate floor so at the end of my Davina dvd when the exercise start I stayed put.

The size of the mat means it is big enough for me to do press ups and sit ups on and the dreaded plank, which I am actually getting better at lol I am 5ft 8in and it is plenty big enough for me. I have found that the material this mat is made from is also very good soaking up excess moisture shall we say. After doing cardio my hands sweat lots but this mat soaks it up and means i do not slip off the mat and and break my nose!

The mat is also the right thickness so my knees or back do not hurt when doing exercises especially on hard floors. If you try doing 'lady' press ups on a hard floor, you will know that it really hurts your knees this mat makes it better.

This mat once done with is easy to roll up and store out of the way til you need to use it again.

This mat is just as good for use on carpet as lets face it you could slip and carpet burn yourself, not going to happen if you have your trusty mat!

For me this exercise mat is excellent it is well priced when you consider some exercise mats with sports name on can be £20 and are probably no different to this.
