I try my best to keep fit but it isn't easy as I Have so much to do. I was hopeless at keeping up with the gym so for Christmas I asked for some weights. I had some previously but ended up giving them away. Now I really want to stick at it and stay fit so asked for some very basic, very easy to use weights.

They only weigh 0.5kg although you can buy them weighing 1kg but I thought the lighter the better to start with and see how I get on with them.

They are soft padded with a foam so they are comfortable to hold unlike the ones which are just rubber I find these not very comfortable so I do ilke these.

They are pink so look nice and not intimidating!

They are not shaped in a special way which is fine, sometimes I think when weights are shaped to try to fit a specific hand shape it always ends up being more uncomfortable to hold.

I have only had these a couple of days but so far I do really like them. They are only small so they are easy to store and put away in a drawer after use and because they're only light it's not a problem moving them.

I intend to use these regularly, several times a day and then build up and move on to the next weight up to help my fitness.

I know these are only light really compared to others but I figure any kind of exercise is better than none. I'm not expecting huge results but it is nice to know that I am using my muscles.

They cost £10 which I think is a reasonable price to pay.
