I use the treadmill at the gym and they have these ones. I think they are great treadmills for gym use but there are probably better and cheaper ones for home use. Ease of use- The treadmill has a screen with various buttons and modes at the top and in the center of the treadmill. Its easy to chose the quick start mode which basically eans manual, you can then set your own incline and speed, this is the most basic mode and the one I normally use, there is also an option to tell it your weight so it can give you a more acurate reading on how many calories you have burnt. the sides of the treadmill mean you can hold on to them for extra balance although I wouldn't recommend doing this when running. There are also tracks at either side of the treadmill that you can stand on if you want a break or you are waiting for it to get up to the correct speed/incline. Modes/functions- For people who dont feel confident creating their own workout they have a number of differnt modes, you select one and give it some basic information such as your age, weight and target heart rate, the treadmill will then program its self and change the incline and speed for itself, it will go through different stages to give you the best workout. The top speed is 20km an hour which is very fast but is possible if you are very fit, i'm not sure what the maximum incline is but it can go very steep. They modes are pretty self explanatory such as fat burn, interval etc. Suitability- This treadmill would be suitable for most adults because you can customise your workout to suit you. I wouldn't recommend that children use it because its quite likely they could fall of, I think other fitness equipment such a cross trainers would be more suitable for them although it might be ok under adult supervision. The treadmill has a clip attached to a mall wire on it that you are supposed to clip to yourself when running or walking, if you pull on this wire the treadmill will stop, this is good because if you fall off or get out f control it will stop working and you are less likely to injure yourself, there is also a big red stop button on it that you can press to stop it quickly. Price- As stated before I use this treadmill in your gym so I not sure on the exact price but I know they are expensive and there are probably cheaper ones for your home that would be better.
