I bought this to add to my home gym, after being recommended the Pro Fitness range by a friend of mine who is a personal trainer. I have never used a rowing machine before, so I didn't want to spend too much money on one, incase I din't like it. This particular rowing machine was only £70 from Argos.
It has 12 levels of resistance and provdes feedback on your workout, includig the time, speed, and length rowed.
t doesn't require too much space when in use and it folds up easily for storage. It is very lightweight but still feels very sturdy.
It was a little complicated to put together, as there are quite a few fiddly bits.
The instruction manual says the footrstraps are adjustable, but they don't quite fit my feet. I am a size 4. So when I am rowing, it doesn't feel too seecure on my feet and so there is uneeded tension in my knees.
I would say that it is better for a quick cardio session. Anything longer than 20 minutes would be uncomfortable as the seat is quite hard.
I bet there woud be better rowing machines out there for a comparable price.
