Advantages: Easy to use, works if you use it

Disadvantages: Bulky not great when you live in a flat with limited storage

Now I am a little bit addicted to buying random gym equipment I sometimes buy to of things made by different people because I feel one will be better than the other or I will 'definatley use it this time' but when it comes down to it I tend to have a good go for a few weeks then can't be bothered again, well I am off on holiday in a few weeks so I thought it really was time I dug some of my equipment out and made an effort.

The gym ball has been living in my moms garage for the last erm 3-4 years maybe I have been moved out 3 and a half lol but it is still going strong even though it hasn't had any action and has benn left out in the cold.

I purchased my Pro Fitness Gym ball from an Argos Clearance shop which basically sells Argos products in battered boxs which they wouldn't get away with selling in the shop - the bonus is most things are half their normal price so I got my ball for £3 instead of the £6.99 it would have cost me in the shop to get it with a less battered box. The colour is described by Argos as silver but I would say mine is a more metalic purple colour than silver not that it matters I haven't purchased it for wearing out. The ball is 65com diameter which is quite big I am 5ft 9in and it comes up to just above my knee so once its inflated there is no popping it away in the cupboard - hence how it ended up spending some lonely years in my moms garage you can deflate it but who wants to mess around doing that then inflating it again after every workout.

When you get you ball it comes deflated in a cardboard box which is easy to carry once you get it home you take it out of the box and you will find a plastic pump with a plastic tube coming out with nozzle to insert into the ball to blow it up. It takes a couple of minutes to blow the ball up to its full potential then you pop the stopper in and you are good to go. The ball comes with some exercises to do which tend to be normal toning exercises - sit ups , push ups etc the point of using the ball is you are trying to balance you core at the same time as doing the exercise and so are working harder as you try to stabilise yourself at the same time.

So safely retrieved from my moms garage I have bought my ball home where I don't really have anywhere to store it my thought with this being I shall use it whilst it staring at me when I am watching the tv. I have been doing this for a couple of weeks and I do feel a little tighter in my core so will try to carry on with it atleast til my holiday comes then it may be deflated for a while again whilst Christmas hits.

I give this ball 4 stars for me I have no where to store it really, bu the quality is great especially given that it has spent 3-4years in a cold garage and is still inflated and good to go.

Summary: A good purchase
