Another brilliant Amazon find is this Reaction Ball. Priced at a mere £5 this really is an affordable and fun toy for use in the garden. This doesn't look anything like a conventional ball, it also doesn't act like one either. The core of the 'ball' hass attached to it six further spherical shapes attached to it. The Reaction Ball is constructed from tough and durable rubber and is available in either a 7cm or 10cm size. There are a number of different suppliers of the Reaction Ball, so colour and size may vary elsewhere, but they are all of the same tough rubber construction.

You may well be wondering why such a product exists and what it is used for. Well, the 'ball' can be thrown against a wall, it will then bounce from the wall at a peculiar and unexpected angle depending on where abouts the wall makes contact with the ball. This is where the name 'Reaction Ball' comes in. By rebounding at an unpredictable angle you can test and improve your reaction speed by throwing the ball at a wall with varying force. Instead of a typical spherical ball, where you will know roughly where to stand to catch the ball, the Reaction Ball doesn't reveal its direction until it actually rebounds. You therefore have to really be on your toes if you are to catch it, and it is a great product for improving your reflexes.
