This Reebok exercise bike has many advantages, in particular its comfortable saddle, its adjustability and its monitoring console. It is also very reasonably priced in comparison to other bikes we looked at. It is easy to assemble and once assembled it is easy to adjust the seat height and the pedalling resistance. Whilst pedalling in comfort, feedback from the console is very encouraging (hopefully!). It shows the amount of calories you are burning, the amount of distance you have 'covered', your speed and the time you have been pedalling for. However, the final feature of the console is the pulse sensor, and this we have been finding somewhat difficult to use. It seems that you need to stop pedalling, press down the button fully with the thumb and then release it slowly to a certain point, wait several seconds and then your pulse rate will show on the monitor. This is much more difficult to actually do than we realised when we bought the bike, and is a great shame because feedback regarding the pulse is an important part of exercising. Another drawback is that the pedalling resistance control does not fit tightly to the front of the bike, and moves around a bit. This looks a bit shabby but is probably not that important. Basically a very good exercise bike for the price.
