Advantages: Cheap , good quality, non slip, good size

Disadvantages: No problems here

My family including all our children take part in exercises at home to me its important they learn to be healthy and active from a yopung age. I am not the sort of mum that allow my children to play game consoles all day long and regularly encourage cycling, swimming, running, hill walking etc during the summer months but come winter we do a family exercise class in the morning. Not really a class as my children think its fun and lets them burn of steam at the same time.
I had to purchase a few exercise mats last years as we had been using my yoga mat that was a bit worn and tatty. I had searched around on the Argos website to find them these were cheap and had terrible reviews. I ended up picking the Sainsbury's exercise mats for no other reason than me doing a weekly food shop in the store.
Sainsbury's exercise mats were a reasonable price costing only £3.99 each. Instore there was no colour choice only light blue, i purchased three one each for my children as i made do with my old yoga mat.
Sainsbury's exercise mats did not come with any packaging just rolled up into a compact roll secured with a band at either end and a scan code sticker on them.

Sainsbury's exercise mats measures roughly 60 inches long, 24 inches wide and 6mm thick. They are made of foam and as you can tell by my measurements a good length but very thin. The foam is smooth all over not texture to them.
After getting the mats home we had to unroll each mat and place them under the table to keep weight on them as the mats kept curing up at the ends and corners.

Using the mats for exercising is fine. I have had no problems with them slipping on the flooring and it keeps the cold at bay. My feet don't sweat whiles exercising using the mats. Think my children though the mats would be like a mattress but these are not build for comfort however does give a little protection from the hard flooring underneath. As well as normal exercises we use the mats for standing on whitest playing the Wii stops the children skidding across the floor. I also use mine for doing my exercise dvds and the mat sizing is perfect i never need to step off the mat. I am small too so length wise i can stretch out fully. Also good for letting my children do their craft projects, jigsaws on as well.
Sainsbury's exercise mats have come in useful for all kinds of activities in my family and have lasted well. They do get grubby and need a wipe over with a damp cloth but look good as new afterwards.

Sainsbury's exercise mats are good quality and cheap, i recommend them.
