But as the other reviewers found, you don t get the full capacity because of the file-system tables and any other software that gets bundled onto the drive. Sandisk Cruzer Micro 16 GB ... received this as a gift last Christmas, I ve always been sceptical about carrying my personal documentation around with me, but the U3 software that comes with this allayed all of my fears. For anyone who hasn t researched, its software inbuilt by SanDisk and helps take care of your documents security by encrypting it with a password to avoid access being gained by anyone who isn t authorised to use it. How it works is by it being partitioned with the main partition loading first and gaining you access. If you need a password you can set that up in the security feature like I did.
