I use the Amacom USB 2.0 Flash Key 8GB in my car on a permanent basis. I have a radio in the car, along with a CD Player, but I also have USB connectivity on my head unit, for which I use the Flash Key which holds most of the music I listen to. This works very well for portability reasons, as i can quickly and easily add/change the mp3 files I listen to in my car with a few simple clicks on my laptop, and with a brushed aluminium finish to the USB Flash Key itself this gives a durable finish.

The Amacom USB 2.0 Flash Key 8GB obviously has a very healthy storage capacity. Working on the basis that the average mp3 file I store on it is roughly 5MB, this works out at 1,600 songs! Although I have no intention of ever having this many files on the stick, it does give me reassurance! it is also compatible with USB 1.0 and USB 2.0, which means I have the option to use it on a range of computers within my household. USB Flash Keys are ideal for the portable storage, transfer and transportation of vital data, and the Amacom branded USB Flash Key fits the bill perfectly.

Amacom claim that this Flash Key has a transfer rate of over 5MB per second, which I am yet to fail to recieve! I think that although capacity is important in such a product, transfer rates are also a key element to consider with such a purchase. I can often transfer large amounts of data to and from the stick, so for me it is a major benefit to have this feature.

Obviously looks can be important too, and Amacom don't leave you disappointed on that front either, the robust and stylish brushed aluminium finish fits in nicely with my silver interior of the car, but it also works well with more computer related gadgets aswell.

If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful USB Flash Key then sadly I cannot say 'look no further', as the £25 pricetag may put a lot of people off. There are much more affordable USB Flash Key available, but the question is can you afford to miss out on such a stylish and robustly made product?
