Belkin is one of those names you can trust when it comes to computer products. They make some pretty quality things and, along with LG, are one of my favourite companies for computer accessories.
The first thing you'll notice about this flash drive is its size. 256 mb to some people is an absolutely miniscule amount (and, let's face it, it kind of is compared to what you can buy today), but I got this some time back when 1 and 2 gb storage was the norm. I still use it quite a lot today and it's been the steadiest, and sturdiest USB flash drive I've ever used. A few years on and it hasn't broken and there are no signs of it so far.
This flash drive is perfect for storing files and images you'll need for, say, presentations, or moving from a work or university computer to yours at home. It's not huge, yes, but unless you're working on some big video files or something (which I often am, and use my external hard drive for), this one is small both in physical size and in memory, which is perfect. Nothing too cumbersome, and it fits nicely in a pencil case, on a keyring ir simply in your pocket.
Small in size, it does look good, though. An elegant colouring gives it a Parker pen like style to it, which I quite admire. Granted it's just a USB stick but who's to say it can't look good as well.
All in all, while small in memory, it does exactly what you want it to when you want it to. Sure it can't hold a great deal of files, but it's perfect for that transportation of documents from one computer to another. And at the prices they're going for today, you're getting good quality for practically nothing.
Belkin is a name you can trust when it come to any computer products - they make anything from mice to surge protectors. That's why I have many product manufactured from them and have always been happy with the quality and customer service.
Concerning the USB stick - well I needed a small stick which I could carry with me to transfer files from the office to my home PC. This Belkin stick was perfect as it was the right price, with just the right amount of storage space - nothing over the top - all I needed it for was transfer of emails.
The physical size of the device is really small; I always keep it on my key ring.
The speed is super lightening speed - what I expected from Belkin.
I have written to the drive thousands of time in the year I've had it and had never let me down. Yes its had it's knocks when I drop my keys on the floor; but this has never effected the data integrity.
Overall I think this is a great little stick if you need small storage space, lightening speed, with a reliable tag on it.
