My brother bought one and panicked because it wanted to install all the U3 stuff on his PC. Why don't these people realise we just want portable memory and not operating systems on a dongle. The IT police at work would probably have me sacked for plugging one in at the office.
It pretends to be a USB CD as well as memory to prevent you from deleting the included software.
He gave it me to be rid of it, but I downloaded the uninstaller from U3 and gave it him back.
Other gripes: No way of attaching it to anything, so expect to lose it pretty quick. When it is opened out the cover for the USB connector feels pretty flimsy, so maybe you'll break it before you lose it and just throw it away.
Apart from that it's a pen drive, it works. I haven't made any comparative tests with other drives and didn't use it long enough to form any further opinions.
The review system insisted I filled in the quick rating so I have been even handed and said everything was 3 stars. Don't trust me on this.
