      Check that it works first!

I bought this flash drive from the Ideal Home show, where Kingston Technology had a stall because I needed a 1Gb drive at a cheap price. I was in the process of moving PC data between machines and though this would do the job. I loaded up material I wanted to keep and inserted it into the USB slot in the new PC but the machine couldn't recognise that it was even in the slot. I took it into work to the PC guys but even they could not find the data. I guess I got a bad flash drive?! I also have other Kingston products - SD cards etc and these have been fine. I would advise anyone purchasing one to keep the proof of purchase and test drive it out on some old files before putting important work on to it. I am disappointed with this product and am reluctant to try other flash drives from this company.
