Advantages: Compact well made good storage size fast looks cool

Disadvantages: USB drives are easy to lose so its best to make multiple back ups

I needed a new USB storage Key as its quite easy to lose them and I picked the PDP Patriot Extreme Performance Xporter XT Boost 16 GB. What attracted me to this device and even in the packaging the device looked durable. The cost was that bad for a 16 gig drive so I purchased and raced home to check out the specifications.
I found it quite difficult to open as it comes in hard plastic but a good pair of scissors should soon get the product open. The device is well made and would take many knocks and bashes before any permanent damage was done. The device is also Water proof and shock resistant that is a real selling point in our family as if its not made well it doesn't last long. I inserted the device into the USB drive and it connected to the computer and registered without any issues no installation files necessary and it was ready to use within seconds after opening the packaging.
I have had this device now a number of months and not had any issues with it. I believe in paying a little more and knowing that I have purchased a good well made device that will hold up to the test of physical abuse from children and the bad weather and not lose any files or become corrupted. I use this every day too and from work and have not had an issue
I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a new storage device
I would also like to point out that its UBS 2 compliant but also backwards compatible so if you have a USB device in your machine and pretty much everyone does it will work what ever the USB socket type and its also pretty fast so you wont be hanging on while your documents are transferred over.
