      Rugged Flash Drive

Data can be a very valuable thing, and many of us carry around flash drives holding important personal and work related documents. It is for that reason that the safe transferal of these files is very important - and that's where the 'Pretec i-Disk Bulletproof' comes in to play.

I bought one of these because it looked cool and was fairly small, but it's also nice knowing that any data housed in this rugged little capsule is likely to survive the harshest of conditions.

Bulletproof by name, and bulletproof by nature - it really is, as it's apparently been tested on a firing range! If anyone saw the Gadget Show last night, you will have noticed that they ran a feature on this little beauty. Not only did they submerge it in water, but they also set it on fire, and blew in up with explosives. And guess what?... all of the data on the device was intact.

If you want one of these clever little flash drives, it will cost you £9.99 from Amazon - which isn't bad for a little peace of mind.

In terms of transferal speeds, the i-Disk is no slouch with a 20MB/sec read speed and 12MB/sec write speed - which is quick enough to satisfy most users.

All in all a highly recommended product.
