Sandisk cruzer memory sticks come in different sizes, I have seen them range upto 32GB. I am by no means an expert at all, and didn't really know what I was looking for, but when I told some friends I needed a memory stick they recommended Tesco's as they had seen them cheaply. I seem to be always doing shopping there anyway, and the lure of clubcard points never seems to fail. I chose completely based on price, and that lead me to this 4GB memory stick for £5.99.

The memory stick has what I believe to be quite a unique design. It has a plastic push in and out button, which withdraws the precious valuable end into itself so it cannot get damaged. This is much better than the ones with lids. I had one of these before for work and the lid fell off in my bag and I couldn't find it again, which instantly rendered it useless, without extra special care.

The memory stick feels quite flimsy and cheaply made, but its performance has never backed up those thoughts. I used this to save photos I had taken for a family wedding and then it got passed back and forwards between all my family members as they slowly copied them onto their own PCs one by one.

Everyone managed to use this memory stick, so it is obviously very easy to use, and it came back to me in one piece, with no damage to the precious USB metal pieces. This shows it is pretty hardy, and therefore, to me, very good value for money.

I have windows 7 and it worked well with it, it was very fast to load when I put it in the PC. Some software popped up, which I quickly closed down as I never use the standard software, I just open the USB stick up in my computer.

This memory stick was ideal for me-hardy and easy to use. It wasn't a downside for me, but maybe for you, depending on what you would like to use this for. It doesn't have password encryption.
