Advantages: 4GB faast
Disadvantages: feels poorly built
Recently bought this from Tescos at a bargain £5.99 when it was on offer. Normally this retails at around £14.99 or £9.99 on etailers. I previously had Play.com 2GB storage device and never used the full space until recently when linux distributions became much larger.
Main reason for buying this was to create a USB installation for the new OpenSuSe linux distribution. It held the boot disk just about with enough to spare. So its 4GB, its USB 2.0 compliant so it isn't as fast as USB 3.0 but not nearly as costly. It feels light compared to my Play.com flash drive.
As such, the build quality is a bit dubious as it feels flimsy and fragile. Wouldn't recommend dropping this around or leaving it in your pocket and accidentally sitting on it (I did so on my Play.com device and it still worked!).
As it has no cap it is a push device. This too feels flimsy and thats my main problem with this. The plastic used could have been a bit more rugged. It just doesn't feel sturdy enough. Otherwise it works as its supposed to.
Summary: Good for the price,
