I purchased my Sony 4GB USB about a year ago for around 6-7 pounds (it is still available now around £5-10). I used it quite frequently to store photos, videos and word documents, until one day I realised I could use it to transport my xbox live profile. With this little delight, I've managed to view photo & song albums and videos of decent quality thanks to a more than enough storage capacity of 4GB. Its about 6.5CM long and 1.5CM wide with a sharp little safety slider to release and retract the USB plug in. Like most external USB devices, this one has a flashing green light (safety slider) to signal when it is in use etc. It looks professional in a slick, smooth black and frosted black with silver/grey writing displaying the company logo, size and product name, along with darkened info, made in Taiwan ect. I haven't had any problems with it at all and often take it with me to work and friends houses thanks to it being compact and offering a small slot to tie it to keys or other important items.
The transferring of files takes little time and no sound is made from the stick at all. Its made from standard plastic but manages to stay functional after being dropped numerous times and jangling around in a rucksack. Errors will only occur from user faults like removing the device before stopping or ejecting it, something that most usb devices require to remain in operational.
Summary: Fantastic Value for Money
