Store 3 times more data with the expander

When I first saw this hub... I just loved it. It is so compact and comes in a rubbery pouch. The case has a clip at the back so you can attach it to folders etc and it has another attachment which allows you to attach it to keys or bags etc.

The 'Sony Micro Vault' comes with 'Virtual Expander' which compresses the files and expands them again when you open them. This allows you to store 3 times more data.

I brought it about two years ago when it first came out and it was priced at about £45. That's expensive!

However after a few months of use I put it in the usb drive of my pc and laptop usb drive and it could not be detected my either. All my data was lost. You also have to make sure you keep it away from your mobile phone. Another disadvantage is that you would always end up touching the chips which again causes damage to the product.

It is only about 1.5 cm long and very slim. And I would lose it all the time.

At £12.29 it's a good product. You can get it even cheaper on eBay. You can buy the vault in different colours and capacities of 256MB to 2GB.

A disadvantage is that you would always end up touching the chips which again causes damage to the product.
