For a USB flash drive this has to be one of the smallest I've seen, even by today's standards. I bought mine at the start of college to keep college work on, it has amazed me at how quick it transfers files compared to cheaper drives on the market.
It comes with inbuilt software to compress and decompress your files to maximise space on the drive; I have only used this software once and found that because our college network does not run .exe programs I could not decompress my files and so had to go through all of the folders and decompress them on my laptop then I could use them on the network. I've never really had the need to compress work though as Word and PowerPoint files take up little room on the 1GB of storage.
The hole for a keyring is great to put onto a lanyard so as not to lose it and the lid comes easily enough but not too easy that it falls off; the lid stays attatched to the lanyard so that you can take the USB flash drive off and put it into a computer without taking the lanyard off from around your neck.
After 2 years this product has never broken even when I dropped it out of my bedroom window accidentally one day. Slight scratches on the outside but works like a charm still to this day.
Perfect product for anything from storing files for school or work or for keeping a small music collection to connect to the home stereo or in-car music system.
