Finally a USB key that doesn't waste my files!

Let me preface I was absolutely unaware of the existence of this brand and little did I know that Transcend apparently is one of the big guys when it comes to USB pendrives... Only thing I knew about them is that these devices generally last for a very short time and in the worst case scenario make the files I worked on inaccessible, forever...

2 GB was a good storage capability for my needs and I decided to purchase the Transcend Jetflash. In the past I had several pendrives -all malfunctioning- that were pretty big in size so I couldn't help but notice that this thing is thin and light, a great plus for a lover of portable "stuff" like me. And once I plugged it to my computer I discover that it comes with apps on it!

There are a lot of programs like the AutoLogin function that stores your passwords to speed up the access to sites that require your credentials, a PC Locker to block the access to your computer when the key is not plugged in. There's also a function called favorites that keeps track of your browser favorites, maybe a little redundant, but it doesn't hurt for sure. I believe you can use some of these apps to update the drivers but frankly I didn't need to do it.

I didn't gauge the speed of the pendrive in a scientific way, but transferring files of 30 MB took roughly 10 seconds each, so I'm not only extremely satisfied with it but I can say it's still working great as I'm writing: a real privilege with these things!
