Memorex 64 MB CompactFlash Card:
... CompactFlash memory cards are a bit of a niche category these days. Few if any compact digital cameras still use the format, partly because the cards are simply too chunky to fit into modern slim bodies, and while DSLRs continue to make use of it quite widely there s really no reason for those to use a card as small as 64 MB. However, for those interested in older cameras - some of which may not be a... Read the full review: Flashback by davidbuttery |

Sony 2 GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) ... bought this for my phone about a year ago to store photos and music on and its done the job brilliantly. I am still, after however long they ve been around, impressed by how small they are compared to how much they can hold. And 2Gb is one of the smaller ones these days. It is tiny. Maybe littler finger nail sized and can hold maybe 700 songs in mp3 format or 2000 photos. All this for about £4 depending on where you go is very impressive stuff. To be honest I think all brands of memory card are much the same although the M2 is sony s own format. My card has lasted a year with music, photos and data regularly being transferred backwards and forwards and has not yet ha... Read the full review: Who says Big is Better? by Trengot |

Sandisk Standard 8 GB Class 2 SDHC ... anyone who has read any of my recent reviews you will know that I have a tendency to use memory storage devices like a politician uses claim forms. I own many flash drives for PC purposes, rather than using the soon to be obsolete cds/dvds to store my information on. So I thought I d have to mention another type of memory storage, this one in the form of an SD card, only this one is a more advanced version of the normal dated SD cards, it is a SDHC card, (which stands for Secure Digital high capacity ), claiming it to be the next generation of SD cards, helping to improve speed and efficiency. One of the many SD and SDHC cards I own is from the boffins at Sandisk an... Read the full review: Store thousands of photographs on the back of a stamp by blissman70 |

Sandisk Ultra II 2 GB SD Memory Card ... cards are perhaps not the most glamorous or exciting of products to write about, but given how much they re used these days I think this category rather deserves a review! The SD card (and its successor, the SDHC card) has certainly won the battle to be the standard format used in compact digital cameras. Digital SLRs are still quite likely to take the larger CompactFlash format, and Sony continue to cling obsessively to their own proprietary MemorySticks, but the xD format is being slowly dropped by Fujifilm and Olympus, while the old SmartMedia cards are now really of interest only to collectors of old cameras. SanDisk have long had a reputation for producing hi... Read the full review: Card sharp by davidbuttery |
