The 64MB memory unit is the very minimum you can get for storing saved information. You'll be able to keep game saves and profiles but of a very low number and pretty much nothing else will fit.

Although this is fairly cheap on its own when you compare it to the 20GB HDD you're really not paying that much less but you're getting a tiny amount of memory compared to it. If you don't have much money left over from buying your set up and 360 and don't have any memory storage I still would not recommend the memory unit. This is because if you wait a little and then buy the 20GB hard drive then you'll have an easily sufficient amount of storage for everything you'll need and want.

Downloading off the Xbox Live Marketplace takes up a lot of space. Demos can be over 1GB in size and you can't fit any demo on the 64MB unit. You'll run out of memory extremely fast.

The only real benefit is that it is very small and the colours match that of the 360 as well as the other accessories. However, the hard drive looks better as it clips onto the top and has a chrome edge. Setting up is extremely easy. All you are required to do is insert the unit into one of the slots at the front of the console and after making a profile, you're good to go. Very easy.

Overall, this isn't worth the price even though it's the cheapest memory. The 20GB is really the minimum you should have as you can't fully enjoy Xbox Live without it.

Summary: I strongly recommend to avoid this and buy the 20GB if not the 60GB hard drive
