The Memory card 251 is a memory card for use with Nintendo Gamecube console.
The Memory Card 251 is the same size as the dainty Memory Card 59, thats half of a Playstation 2 or if you cant visualise that think of maybe four postage stamps put together or a small biscuit! A new memory card means a new colour and this one comes in a much more attractive black finish, which will match your Black Gamecube console so tough luck if you got a purple one!

Though it is not marked on the Memory card itself you do get a handy set of stickers to put on the memory card which read Memory Card 251, that and its completely different colour will prevent any confusion with the Memory Card 59.

The Memory Card 251 contains a predictable 251 blocks of save memory which is a vast improvement to the paltry 59 found before, however it can still fill up rather quickly when you have memory hungry games that can eat over 100 of your precious storage blocks! Thankfully most games won't take up more than 10 so if you go by that you can save 25 games to the card and have 1 left over!

I have had no problems with corrupt data or data loss and it is easy to transfer data between memory cards with the Gamecube memory card browser. Saving games is a quick and simple process as with the 59 model.
