I purchased this SD card when I was using my EEE-PC netbook to play a lot of videos when on the move and didn't want to use up all of the internal storage on the hard drive as although there is 40gb I want to keep this free for work and programs.
To get this working it was just a simple case of plug in and go, the SD card was instantly recognised by my pc, I transferred the files across by simply dragging and dropping and tried it in my laptop. Again instantly recognised by the laptop, the videos played straight off the card no problem and everything has continued to run with no problems for a couple of years. I have tried this on Windows XP, Vista and windows 7 and have not had any problems at all.
Another advantage is that this SD card is a universal piece of storage that can be used in cameras, laptops, mp3 players, phones.... This makes it very easy to switch files, videos and photos from one device to another by just unplugging it and putting into the other where it is probably going to be recognised no hassle and be very easy to access.
The SD card is great value for money, I got it for about £1 a GB which at the time was a steal, its fast, its large and its cheap, certainly worth the money. Note however that actual storage space is shown as 14.8GB.
