Advantages: Can be used in cameras as well as mobiles

Disadvantages: Lost/did not save most of my photos and files

I bought this card for the whopping price of £44.99 when it first came out. I needed it to back up precious photos etc from my mobile phone (my only digital camera). When my mobile recently went to the little place in the sky for mobiles, I was relieved I had my little Sandisk to see me right. That is, until I actually went to try and retrieve my stuff from it (I had files on there as well as photos) and found that since October 2007, it had not saved anything at all.

I don't know why this is, and I have written to the manufacturers to see where the problem lies, but in the meantime, it has left me disappointed to have lost some sentimental items (referring back to the photos) which I had not yet transferred to a PC as I just got a laptop and am still figuring out how to use it!!

As I don't know where the fault lies, I reserve judgement on most aspects other than its reliability; surely you should expect it to save things?

Summary: I will update this when I hear back from the manufacturers.
