Advantages: Size, speed, reliable, easy to connect with PC
Disadvantages: One day 4GB won't be big enough
Currently under way of changing what's on my memory card I thought I'd share a little bit about the card that cost £22.99 about 5 months ago (my first wage was spent towards this). Having been stuck using a 1 GB one since the previous Christmas I knew I needed more memory, especially when this phone I have uses up so much memory per photo (seemingly up to 1.47 MB for a standard 5 MP photo). I also like my music and as I'm not a fan of carrying around multiple things (I'm accident prone) using my phone as an MP3 player was a must, sadly with 1GB you could fit around 250 songs on it with the pictures I had.
So I wanted bigger, more songs, more photos more reserve space, the phones in built memory is rather paltry (around 125MB or around 40 songs) and the 1GB card wasn't going to be enough. With 2GB ones costing around £17 at the time the value buy was this 4GB Sandisk card which slides nice into place in the back of the C902. Now M2 memory cards are (as far as I'm aware) only for Sony devices, most notably the mobile phones of recent years, so if your a fan of Nokia or Samsung or LG you're highly recommended not to waste your money on something that isn't compatible with your device.
So for saving photos you whack it in the phone, select it (if it's not automatically done) and snap away, mine currently has 91 taken with the phone it's self (including one of me looking rather sexy in a pink bra) and 150 others that people have sent me. Now your think that's not very good if it's only holding 240 or so pictures, well what you've got to remember is I'm a music fan. The memory card currently holds just shy of 1000 songs, now taking an average of 3.5 mins a song that means the card currently has nearly 2 and a half days of music on there. Excessive? Maybe but it explains the lack of photos.
The memory card can either be connected to a PC via a cable that connects the phone to the PC and allows you access to the phones in built memory as well as that of the card. Or via a USB adapter, I don't know where you get these from, I got one in the box with an old K800i and hadn't used it until recently (after my cables had vanished at the hands of my brother). So using the adapter the card slides in easily, you connect the adapter to a USB port and have access to the card via windows explorer with all the usual functions. Drag and drop, delete, copy, paste, rename all the things your used, to take things from one source and put them on to another, or vice verse.
Any problems? Well no, the only ones I can think of is when 4GB isn't enough and an 8GB one is needed somewhere down the line, for now 4GB is fine, it holds enough music and photos, it allows quick and easy deletion of files, and has allowed my phone memory to have over 14000 texts (I'm trying to find the maximum) on it. The memory card may be seen as slightly less reliable than the official Sony one, but that's likely more down to the fact it's half the price of the official one. So far I've had no problems at all and it's worked a charm to keeping my stuff secure.
For those curious and sick folk out there here's the picture of me in a bra...admit it boys and girls, you love it:

Summary: Anything where I can admire myself in a bra is a good thing...right?
